Oracle Corporation - Facilities and Asset Management EIPCI was retained by Oracle Corporation to explore the use of Oracle applications software for facilities and real property management. The work included product capability assessments, market research and strategic consulting performed directly for Oracle executives. This 2-year engagement resulted in Oracle creating an in house team of consultants and sales professionals to pursue this evolving market. EIPCI?s efforts were also influential in defining requirements and value propositions for Oracle products which, in part, led to the creation of Oracle Enterprise Asset Manager as a stand-alone offering by the company.
NOAA - IWMS Implementation Planning for Real Property Management EIPCI worked with Parsons under a contract with NOAA to identify requirements for and prepare implementation plans for replacing antiquated information systems with contemporary commercial software. Components of the work included nationwide workshops, data requirements evaluations, workflow planning and system implementation plans. Besides NOAA, the effort also included considerations for a roll-out across all bureaus in the Dept. of Commerce.
GeoEye - Strategic Business and Market Planning EIPCI was retained by GeoEye in a series of assignments that addressed performance metrics for key business units and the roll-out of new data products and services. EIPCI reviewed industry best practices and created a team of industry experts who formulated recommendations for business strategy, business development and production process improvements. Focus areas included aerial data acquisition and production and advanced data distribution models.
BAE Systems - Insurance Industry Imagery and Mapping Support EIPCI was retained by BAE Systems to develop a prototype mapping and database solution to serve the insurance industry. As part of this effort, EIPCI facilitated the relationships between BAE, property insurance underwriters and several technology and data collection companies. Once a working prototype was established, EIPCI developed a test case using Palm Beach County, Florida land records combined with tax parcel mapping, high resolution imagery and insurance industry data. This was accomplished through a cooperative agreement with the Palm Beach County government. Recognition of this working concept was followed aggressively by the market at large and remains the contemporary framework and logic model for provisioning high value-added information to the insurance and reinsurance industries.
GSA Public Buildings Service - IWMS Program EIPCI was retained to facilitate the development of standard processes and databases for GSA Headquarters and all ten regional offices in the Public Buildings Service (PBS). EIPCI was engaged after a solution had been implemented and provided management and the company provided consulting services that facilitated consensus-building for data standards, budget controls and cost management across PBS. The work included relationship building between real property managers and analysts and their technology support counterparts. It resulted in the first-ever successful program of using commercial asset management software for an enterprise-wide implementation in the Federal government.
US Navy - Facilities CAD-2 Program The US Navy Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) hired EIPCI to provide management and technical consulting support for a Federal government-wide technology acquisition program. EIPCI developed and implemented key performance indicators for the program based on a balanced scorecard approach to management and control. EIPCI prepared recurring analyses for NAVFAC, served as an intermediary and advisor with NAVFAC?s contracting support office (an Army research center), supported relationship management with other Navy technology, contracting and command organizations and hosted (for NAVFAC) user conferences and discussion forums. Through EIPCI?s work, customer satisfaction rose dramatically, fees for contract services were reduced and program sales increased by thirty percent (30%) year over year.
Facilities Information Systems - Federal Marketing Program EIPCI was retained by Facility Information Systems (FIS) to help the company identify and take to market their enterprise-class facilities and real estate management software product. The engagement had two focus targets. The first included an assessment of the applicability of the software to meet Federal and other government information management requirements. This was directly applied to and benefited FIS? product design evolution. Second, EIPCI provided Federal market research and sales support to help FIS generate new business opportunity. This resulted in FIS having a strong relationship with the General Services Administration and ultimately placing their products across the agency and with other Federal organizations, including DoD.
VISTA Technology Services - Real Property Asset Management EIPCI was engaged for a variety of market positioning and proposal support services. As part of this engagement, EIPCI identified the opportunity for VISTA to re-craft its baseline military business, experience and skills to approach evolving requirements in civilian agencies and the Federal marketplace at large. This work centered on the early adopter responses to President Bush?s Executive Order 13327 for improved real property management. EIPCI?s identified resources for the new work and funding programs as they were evolving. This resulted in VISTA emerging as one of the leading professional services practice during the early years of EO 13327-based work across the Federal government.
Patuxent River Naval Air Station - Facilities Management Program EIPCI was retained by PAX River to support their technology program in facilities planning, GIS and operations and maintenance management. Specifically, EIPCI was tasked to facilitate consensus building sessions and to develop strategies that evolved traditional ?stovepipe? management and systems into a transparent and unified approach to managing information that supported multiple on-base organizations from a single data rich repository. EIPCI?s work helped PAX River accelerate and stabilize an already successful program that demonstrated significant return on investment and reductions in operating costs during a period when PAX River missions were significantly expanding.
DigitalGlobe - Civilian Agency Imagery Sales Program EIPCI conducted market research for DigitalGlobe to determine major Federal funding programs that would be viable new business targets for the company?s high resolution satellite imagery. EIPCI identified a series of opportunities for consolidated large account imagery sales that would augment ongoing and funded Federal programs and where DigitalGlobe could offer substantial cost reductions over traditional imagery acquisition processes. EIPCI developed market assessments with sales projections, introduced DigitalGlobe to Federal executives and those in-place major program contractors who would use the imagery and supported sales efforts across the Federal civilian agency sector.

Wineries and Agritourism
Vint Hill Craft Winery Vint Hill Craft Winery was founded in 2009,; EIPCI brought industry experts together to create the first ultra premium quality custom winemaking facility on the EastCoast. Te business specializes in personalized winemaking; ensuring quality, success and sustainability. The state of the art “green” winery is located in the unique historic barns at the former Vint Hill Farms Station, VA. The barn facility was once a high-security listening station used by the US Government from the early 1940s through the late 1990s.
Winery at La Grange Working with the mid-Atlantic's leading executive winemaker, EIPCI developed business plans, investor documents and cost estimates for a premier Virginia destination winery and vineyard. EIPCI was instrumental in securing partner investments, enabling property acquisition and construction to begin. EIPCI conducted vendor selection and contract management, and was instrumental in negotiations with local government regulatory and permitting authorities. The Winery at La Grange set both regional and national records for opening, just nine months after land acquisition and including the renovation of a circa 1790 historic plantation manor house on the property. The winery has achieved better than expected business results since opening and EIPCI provides continuing support in business and financial consulting and management.
Winery at Arrington Working with a leading national homebuilder, a leading winemaker and a team of consultants, EIPCI developed a concept plan for the first-ever agritourism (winery, restaurant, epicurean school, banquet facilities, gardens, orchard and vineyard) that would be affiliated with a new prestige active adult community in the Warrenton, Virginia area. EIPCI prepared capital program documents, business plans and investor documents and cost estimates. We also led efforts to retain professional architectural services for concept design and aesthetics studies for the property. While not yet under construction, the planning for this project has been enthusiastically by local officials as well as the land development and business community.
